Explanation:

Correct Answer: No change in serum glucocorticoid level

Response Feedback:Primary adrenal insufficiency would be indicated when the adrenal cortex fails to produce cortisol when synthetic ACTH is administered. Serum cortisol levelswould increase following ACTH administration if the adrenal cortex is functioning properly. Primary adrenal insufficiency occurs when there is no change in the serum glucocorticoid level.

Explain the law's of segregation and independent assortment.
VikaD [51]

I hope this helps.

Explanation: The law of segregation states that the two alleles of a single trait will separate randomly, meaning that there is a 50% either allele will end up in either gamete. This has to do with 1 gene. The law of independent assortment states that the allele of one gene separates independently of an allele of another gene.

What are the characteristics of prokaryotes?
sukhopar [10]
By the way, I LOVE BIOLOGY!
the characteristics of prokaryotes are:
- Lack an organised nucleus and other membrane organelles
- Found in a central part of the cell which is known as the Nucleoid
- The cell wall of the prokaryotic cell acts as an extra layer of protection as it can help maintain dehydration and the cell shape

Using the table on the right as a guide, answer the following questions about light-independent reactions.
Eddi Din [679]

The products of light-independent reactions include the following:

 • Glucose
 • NADP+
 • Water (H₂O).

What is photosynthesis?

Photosynthesis can be defined as a biological and chemical process through which living organisms such as green plants (autotrophs) convert light energy (sunlight) received from the Sun into chemical energy, in order to enable them make their food.

The stages of photosynthesis.

In Science, there are (2) main reactions that make up the process of photosynthesis and these include following:

 1. Light-dependent reactions.
 2. Light-independent reactions.

What are light independent reactions?

Light independent reactions can be defined as a type of photosynthetic reaction that occurs in the stroma of the chloroplasts and it requires the following necessary inputs:

 • Carbon dioxide
 • Adenosine triphosphate (ATP)
 • NADPH

Additionally, NADPH, adenosine triphosphate (ATP), and oxygen are the outputs (end products) of photosynthesis.

In this context, we can reasonably infer and logically deduce that glucose, water (H₂O), and NADP+ constitute the products of every light independent reactions.

Esperanza watched as her mother got her flu shot. “Why do you need a shot if you’re not sick?” she asked. “So I won’t get sick,”
topjm [15]
Flu vaccination can help you from getting sick with flu. Vaccine reduces the risk of infection by working with body’s natural defenses to help them safely develop immunity to diseases. If you get sick, flu vaccine will make your illness milder.
