Answer : Average distance is 10 m.

Explanation :

It is given that,

Average velocity of the wave, v=2.5\ m/s

Time, T=4\ s

So, frequency \nu=\dfrac{1}{T}=\dfrac{1}{4}\ Hz

We know that the average distance between the wave peaks is called as wavelength.

The relation between the wavelength, frequency and the time period is :

\lambda=\dfrac{v}{\nu}

\lambda=\dfrac{2.5\ m/s}{\dfrac{1}{4\ s}}

\lambda=10\ m

So, the average distance between the wave peaks is 10 m.

Aloiza [94]

The circuit shown has a battery and two resistors, with R1>R2. Which of the two resistors dissipates the larger amount of power? Explain

Rank in order, from largest to smallest, the three currents I1 TO I3. And explain why?

The two batteries are identical and the four resistors all ahve exactly the same resistance.
