Answer:

Maximun number of electrons in p-sublevel is 6

Explanation:

P orbital consists of three sublevels i.e. p(x), p(y) and p(z).

Each sublevel can contain maximum of two electrons.

So, total number of electrons in p- orbital = (3*2)=6

Notably, number of sublevels in an orbital are calculated by using quantum mechanics. Each sublevel is an acceptable solution of schrodinger equation.

P orbitals have 3 sub-shells, each of which can hold one pair of electrons that have opposing spins. This leads to p orbitals holding a maximum of 6 electrons

If more solute can be dissolved in a solvent, the solution is
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

the answer is unsaturated

Explanation:

A saturated solution contains more solute per volume of solvent than an unsaturated solution. The solute has dissolved until no more can, leaving undissolved matter in the solution. ... In a supersaturated solution, there is more dissolved solute than in a saturated solution.

Which of these reactions involves an acid and a covalent base?
Juli2301 [7.4K]
I think the correct answer would be D. The reaction that involves an acid and a covalent base would be the reaction of sulfuric acid and water or H2SO4 + 2H2O → 2H3O+ + SO42– . The acid would be H2SO4 and the covalent base would be H2O since it is being held by covalent bonds and when in solution it will have equal amounts of OH- and H+ ions.
