3 3/4 - 6 1/4 is 15/4:25/4 or a 3:5 ratio
4       - 6 2/3 is 12/3:20/3 or a 3:5 ratio
1.2- 2       if divided by .4 is a 3:5 ratio
1.8-3        if divided by .6 is a 3:5 ratio
the unit rate is 3:5
Since all units are 3:5 it is proportional

Answer:

It could be said that 1.67 quarts of blue paints is mixed with 1 quart of red paint.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following information in the question:

Unit rate:

  • A rate is a ratio that is used to compare different kinds of quantities.
  • A unit rate describes how many units of the first type of quantity corresponds to one unit of the second type of quantity.

\text{Unit Rate} = \displaystyle\frac{\text{Parts of blue}}{\text{Parts of red}} = \frac{3}{1.8} = \frac{1.67}{1}

Thus, it could be said that 1.67 quarts of blue paints is mixed with 1 quart of red paint.

Yes, it is proportional because every time the paints are mixed in accordance to the given unit rate.

A because you are multiplying 3/4 by 1/2, you make the product smaller than 3/4

B beacue any number multiplied by one remains that number, since you are multiplying 3/4 by 1 it will remaim 3/4

C because the number multiplied by 3/4 is larger than 1 ( 3/2 = 1 1/2) the product will be larger than 3/4

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

for missing angle of triangle ABC

let the missing angle be y

31+111+x=180(sum of interior angle of a triangle is 180 degree)

142+y=180

y=180-142

y=38 degree

x=y(being alternate angles)

x=38 degree

Divide 6 1/3 by 3/7
ryzh [129]
First, make 6 1/3 a improper fraction: 6 \frac{1}{3}= \frac{19}{3}}. Now we have 19/3*7/3: \frac{19}{3}* \frac{7}{3}= \frac{133}{9}.
