G (f) is just a variable, and that's what confuses most people. if you wanted to, the equation could still be the same and be written as:

x = 3k (2) -22 ;k=4

But, to get the answer, you substitute k as 4, shown below:

x = 3(4) (2) -22

Next you multiply:

x = 12 (2) -22

Then multiply 12 by 2:

x = 24 -22

Then subtract and the answer will be 2

What is the value of the expression “three less than the quotient of ten and a number, increased by six” when n = 2?
alisha [4.7K]

Answer:

8

Step-by-step explanation:

The given expression is "three less than the quotient of ten and a number, increased by six”

The quotient of ten and a number increased by six is translated into mathematical expression as:

\frac{10}{n}+6

Three less than the quotient of ten and a number, increased by six is

(\frac{10}{n}+6)-3

When we substitute n=2, we get:

(\frac{10}{2}+6)-3

Divide to get:

(5+6)-3

Add to get:

11-3

Subtract

8

What is the congruence correspondence, if any, that will prove the given triangles congruent?
ladessa [460]

Answer:

C. HL

Step-by-step explanation:

The two triangles shown are right triangles.

The hypotenuse of one is congruent to the hypotenuse of the other. Also, the length of one of the legs of one triangle is congruent to the corresponding leg of the other triangle.

Based on true HL Congruence theorem, both triangles are congruent to each other.

Therefore, the congruence correspondence that will prove both triangles are congruent is: HL
