The first equation is

y = 6x - b

For the system to have an infinite number of solutions, both equations must be the same equation.

Solve the second equation for y.

-3x + 1/2 y = -3

1/2 y = 3x - 3

y = 6x - 6

Compare this with the first equation,

y = 6x - b

That means b = 6

disa [49]

Answer:

The Answer to your problem is 3 √ 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1. Find 0 ( helps to plot z on complex plane)

z is in quadrant 4

0 is between -\pi/z and 0

Step 2. Find modulus |z|

|z|= check mark 3 to the power of 2 + (-3) power of 2 = check mark, 9+9 = check mark 18 =check mark 9.

Step 3. Write out z in polar form

z = 3 check mark 2.

PLEASE HELP!! A tennis ball machine serves a ball vertically into the air from a height of two feet, with an initial speed of 1
ch4aika [34]
Thank you for posting your question here. I hope the answer below will help.

Vo=110 feet per second
ho=2 feet
So, h(t) = -16t^2 +110t +2
Take the derivative: h'(t) = 110 -32t
The maximum height will be at the inflection when the derivative crosses the x-axis aka when h'(t)=0.
So, set h'(t)=0 and solve for t:
0 = 110 -32t
-110 = -32t
t=3.4375
t=3.44 seconds

40 points!!! Please help me solve
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

34.6

Step-by-step explanation:

In this triangle we have an angle which is 38° and the side opposite to it which is 27 and we have to find the adjacent side

There is only one formula which have these two sides

tan

tan∅ = opposite ÷ adjacent

tan 38° = 27 ÷ x

x = 27 ÷ (tan 38°)

x = 34.56

x≈ 34.6
