What are the advantages of a specific defense?

Monocyte/macrophages are two non-specific immune defenses. If you had no skin it would be pretty tough to roll around in the mud without getting an infection. Also, without the WBCs chillin in there to catch anything that happened to break through you would get an infection every time you get a paper cut.

Fevers may also slow down the reproduction of some bacteria and viruses. Whether the mechanism is as complex as fever and inflammation or as simple as physical barriers and phagocytosis, all nonspecific defenses provide the body with general protection against foreign invaders.

Un compañero de tu salón presenta una condición especial llamada gigantismo, ya que su estatura es mucho mayor que la de los dem
MrRissso [65]

Answer:

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
vovangra [49]
1. The correct answer is; are body cells is going to shrink. Salty seawater is a hyperosmotic solution, meaning that it has more solutes than the cell inside. The water will move (from the cell) via osmosis in order for the solutions to reach equilibrium. Also, salty solution exerts more pressure on the of the cell, so the cell will shrink.

2. The correct answer cells in the fish will stay the same size. This will occur because both solutions, freshwater lake and river have similar (or equal) solute concentrations. Those solutions are called isosmotic. There is no movement of water or the solutes, so the cell stays the same.

3. The correct answer is to swell. This will happen because sea star egg has the same solute concentration as its first environment-ocean meaning that this solution is hyperosmotic comparing to the lake (ocean is saltier than the lake, it has more solutes). When you put the sea star egg in the lake, the water from the lake will move (via osmosis) into the egg, to reach equilibrium. Water will cause the cell to swell.

Phloem on the other hand is responsible for transporting organic molecules that are larger in size. The vascular system, consisting on the Xylem and the Phloem runs from the roots of the plats through the branches and upto the leaves. 4. Sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide are environmental factors that affect the rate of photosynthesis?
Anton [14]

Answer:1.Yes plants take in carbon dioxide for "air" they need water to keep hydrated sunlight helps it make food.
