Answer:

hope this helps love! There are three methods of heat transfer: conduction, convection, and radiation. Cooking of food usually uses a combination of these methods. Conduction transfers the heat using direct contact; food is heated directly in a metal pan, in a liquid, or surrounded by air. ... The heat from the water is transferred to the egg.

Explanation:

When the water is heated, thermal expansion happens so the particles move farther apart and then the hot water moves up because it is less dense then the colder water. ... Convection is happening because when air is heated by the fire, the air becomes less dense and moves up because denser things sink.

A 2000 kg car is rounding a curve of radius 200 m on a level road. The maximum frictional force the road can exert on the tires
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

20 m/s

Explanation:

The frictional force the road exerts on the car provides the centripetal force that keeps the car in circular motion along the curve:

F=m\frac{v^2}{r}

where

F is the centripetal force

m is the mass of the car

r is the radius of the curve

v is the speed of the car

In this problem we have:

m = 2000 kg

r = 200 m

F = 4000 N is the maximum force

Re-arranging the equation, we can calculate the maximum speed v corresponding to this force:

v=\sqrt{\frac{Fr}{m}}=\sqrt{\frac{(4000 N)(200 m)}{2000 kg}}=20 m/s

When you use an array to implement the ADT list, retrieving an entry at a given position is slow.
Luden [163]

Answer:

1)FALSE

2)TRUE

3)FALSE

4) FALSE

Explanation:

1) Retrieving an entry at a given position is not slow ( it is done using index number ) hence the answer is FALSE

2) Adding an entry at the end of the list is Fast this is because in using array implementation a new entry is made immediately after the last position and it is done very fast as well. hence the answer is TRUE

3) Retrieving an entry at a given position ( from an ADT list ) that is been implemented using Vector is very fast this is simply because Indexing in vector is done at a fixed time  hence the answer is FALSE

4) Adding an entry at the end of the list is slow using vector  hence answer is FALSE

What are some factors that might stop a population's exponential growth
lyudmila [28]
So first of all, you might run out of food, which means that there wont be enough to sustain too many animals/people.
Or, you could simply run out of the space to have any more offspring.
One final one is the introduction of a new predator, which would eat the population, making the growth unpredictable.

Hope this helped!!!! :D
