<h2>Answer: its density will decrease</h2>

By increasing the temperature of the iron sphere, its volume will increase (due to the material of which it is composed), this is a phenomenon known as<em> thermal dilation</em>. However, the mass of the sphere will remain the same.

On the other hand, density D is a characteristic property of substances and materials and is defined as the relationship between the mass m and volume V of a specific substance or material, as shown below:

D=\frac{m}{V}

This means <u>density is inversely proportional to volume</u>. Therefore, increasing the temperature of the iron sphere, its volume will be increased and <em><u>its density will be decreased</u></em>.

Explain how all three of Newton’s Laws of Motion apply to weightlifting.
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Answer:

Newton's first law, an object will stay at rest only if there are no external forces acting on the object or if the net external force acting on the object is zero. Since the barbell is at rest (not moving), the net external force acting on it must be zero

Newton's Second Law of Motion via the equation f = ma, or put differently, force is equal to mass multiplied by acceleration. To generate more force, we must either increase mass or acceleration (or both)

Newton's Third Law of Motion is known as the equal and opposite reaction principle

A firecracker is thrown downward from a height of 2.75m above the ground, with a speed of 3.15m/s. Ignore air resistance, determ
3241004551 [841]

Here in this question as we can see there is no air friction so we can use the principle of energy conservation

PE_i + KE_i = PE_f + KE_f

mgh_1 + \frac{1}{2}mv_i^2 = mgh_2 + \frac{1}{2}mv_f^2

now here we know that

h_1 = 2.75 m

v_i = 0

v_f = 5.23 m/s

now plug in all values in above equation

mg*2.75 + 0 = mgh + \frac{1}{2}m(5.23)^2

divide whole equation by mass "m"

9.8*2.75 = 9.8*h + \frac{1}{2}*27.35

9.8*h = 13.27

h = 1.35 m

so height of the ball from ground will be 1.35 m
