Hello!

The teacher prepares 2.50 liters (L) of a salt solution for a class experiment. How many quarts (qt) are in 2.50 L ? (1 quart =0.943 liters)

Let's make a rule of three, we have:

quart (qt) _______ Liter (L)

1 ------------------------- 0.943

y  ------------------------ 2.50

\dfrac{1}{y} = \dfrac{0.943}{2.50}

multiply the means by the extremes

0.943*y = 1*2.50

0.943\:y = 2.50

y = \dfrac{2.50}{0.943}

\boxed{\boxed{y \approx 2.65}}\end{array}}\qquad\checkmark

Answer:

2.65 qt

Quarts are a measurement for liquids.
1 quart is equivalent to 0.943 litres
The volume of the solution is 2.50 L
Since 0.943 L = 1 quart
Then 2.50 L = 1 quart/0.943 L x 2.50 L
Volume = 2.65 quarts
Volume in quarts is 2.65 qt

The solubility product for an insoluble salt with the formula M2X3 is written as ________, where s is the molar solubility
masha68 [24]

Answer:

36s^5

Explanation:

We have;

M2X3 (s)------> 2M^3+(aq)  + 3X^2-(aq)

If [M^3+(aq)] = [X^2-(aq)] = s

We then have;

Ksp = (2s)^2 * (3s)^3

Ksp = 4s^2 * 9s^3

Ksp = 36s^5

Note that Ksp is known as the solubility product. It is an equilibrum equation that shows the solubility of a solute in water.

Acetylene, C2H2, can be converted to ethane, C2H6, by a process known as hydrogenation. The reaction is C2H2(g) + 2H2(g) ⇌ C2H6(
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

-255.4 kJ

Explanation:

The free energy of a reversible reaction can be calculated by:

ΔG = (ΔG° + RTlnQ)*n

Where R is the gas constant (8.314x10⁻³ kJ/mol.K), T is the temperature in K, n is the number of moles of the products (n =1), and Q is the reaction quotient, which is calculated based on the multiplication of partial pressures by the partial pressure of the products elevated by their coefficient divide by the multiplication of the partial pressure of the reactants elevated by their coefficients.

C₂H₂(g) + 2H₂(g) ⇄ C₂H₆(g)

Q = pC₂H₆/[pC₂H₂ * (pH₂)²]

Q = 0.261/[8.58*(3.06)²]

Q = 3.2487x10⁻³

ΔG = -241.2 + 8.314x10⁻³x298*ln(3.2487x10⁻³)

ΔG = -255.4 kJ

Temperature measures _____. A. the heat content of a material B. the average kinetic energy of particles in a material C. the pr
N76 [4]
The answer to fill in the blank would be B) because say for ex you are sick and your mom checks your temperature, she is doing this to see how hot/cold are you, so she is checking your body to see how you are, so same with this, temperature basically measures the kinetic energy/motion of particles in something.
