Which statements are part of the safety protocol for this lab experiment? Check all that apply. Always wear safety goggles when

performing an experiment. Use caution when constructing the track. Pad cars with foam prior to each trial. Ensure that the track is clear before releasing cars. Bolt the ramp to both the floor and desk for support. Report all accidents to the teacher.

 Always wear safety goggles when performing an experiment, especially with objects in motion.

 Make sure you understand the proper use and assembly of the cart, track, and sensors.

 Use caution when assembling and adjusting the dynamics track. Dynamics tracks may have sharp

edges or other parts that may pinch hands or fingers.

 Behavior in the lab needs to be purposeful.

 Report all accidents–no matter how big or small–to your teacher

lesantik [10]

Answer:

Mass of fish=6.252 kg

Explanation:

Force F=0 N to 250 N

Length x=15.0 cm=0.15 m

Frequency f=2.60 Hz

To find

Mass of fish m

Solution

First we need to find spring constant

k=Force/distance\\k=F/x\\k=250/0.15\\k=1666.7 N/m

As we know that the time period is given as

T=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{m}{k} }\\  And\\f_{Frequency} =1/T\\So\\1/f=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{m}{k} }\\1/f^{2}=4\pi^{2}\frac{m}{k}\\   k/f^{2}=4\pi^{2}m\\m=\frac{k}{4\pi^{2}f^{2} } \\m=\frac{1666.7}{4\pi^{2} (2.60)^{2} }\\ m=6.252kg

Describe how coal-fired power plant converts chemical energy in coal into electricity energy.
Ray Of Light [21]
Coal is burned and is used to boil water, which in turn produces steam. Now this steam is passed through nozzles. The steam turns a steam turbine. Now the turbine is coupled to a generator. Generator is an electro magnetic device used for conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy. So in the generator a voltage difference is created and converted into electrical.
