What would be the possible value for x?
Katarina [22]

Answer:

B is your correct answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

a^{2} +b^{2} =c^{2} \\a=15\\b=6x-3\\c=24\\\\15^{2} + (6x-3)^{2} =24^{2} \\225+(6x-3)^{2} =576\\(6x-3)^{2} =801\\\\\sqrt{(6x-3} =\sqrt{801}\\\\(6x-3)= 28.301\\6x= 31.301\\x=5.216

Solve for s.<br> S + 3s - 4 = 16<br> S =<br> Submit
const2013 [10]
The answer is 5 because 16+4=20 and 3s + s = 4s so you’re left with 4s = 20 and I know that 4 times 5 is 20.

1.  1m=100 cm
1m^2= 10,000 cm^2

2.  if 3 pencils are 1.65, then 1 pencil is 1.65/3=$ 0.55
7 pencils will cost 7* $0.55= $3.85

3.1 ha is 10,000 m^2, and 1 soccer filed is roughly 100m *110 m
so it makes sense that 1 ha is roughly 2 tennis courts
4.odd numbers between 20 and 30 are
21,23,25,27,29
lets add the,m
21+23+25+27+29=125

Divide these polynomials.
lord [1]
We can do this two ways: polynomial division or synthetic division.
Polynomial division involves factoring the equations first. Synthetic division is basically long division.

I'm opting for polynomial division cause it's shorter.

First, we factor ((x^4)-(x^3)-(7x^2)+4x-3).
((x^4)-(x^3)-(7x^2)+4x-3)=(x-3)((x^3)+(2x^2)-x+1)

Then divide:
((x-3)((x^3)+(2x^2)-x+1)) ÷ (x-3) = (x^3)+(2x^2)-x+1

So your answer is B
