You can just do 722/45, and the remainder is what's left.  So...45 goes into 722 16 times.  What's left is 2 coats.

The variables A, B, and C represent polynomials where A = x + 1, B = x2 + 2x − 1, and C = 2x. What is AB + C in simplest form?
topjm [15]
AB + C
= (x + 1)(x^2 + 2x - 1)  +  2x
= x^3 + 2x^2 - x + x^2 + 2x - 1 + 2x
= x^3  + 3x^2 + 3x - 1

dimulka [17.4K]

Dimension of smaller garden :

l = 1/2 ft.

b = 2/3 ft.

Dimension of bigger garden :

L = 4 ft.

Let , breadth be x ft.

We know , area is given by :

Area = L×B.

Area of small garden = \dfrac{1}{2}\times\dfrac{2}{3}=\dfrac{1}{3}\ ft^2

Area of big garden =4\times x=4x\ ft^2

Hence, this is the required solution.

In a square, one pair of opposite sides was made 50% longer and the other pair of opposite sides was made 50% shorter.
Pachacha [2.7K]
You have a square with an area of 100 meters^2.
if you decrees a pair of opposite sides by 50%. you end up with a rectangle with the area of 50 meters^2.
then you increase the other pair of opposite sides by 50%. you end up with a rectangle with the area of 75 meters^2. OK now I see what I did wrong.

The correct answer is 75%
