Z - Gamma Rays
X - Visible Light

Gamma rays are heavily produced in the core of the sun but are diluted before they reach the surface (Z). And the surface is the only thing the human eye can see (X).

Answer:

Z: Gamma rays

X: Visible light

Explanation:

A close look at the diagram attach shows the core of the sun and then the external surface.

Gamma rays are intricately associated with the nuclear reactions that go on in the core of the sun that makes it to produce light. Hence Z must refer to gamma rays emitted in these nuclear processes at the core of the sun.

Visible light is given out by the sun and seen externally. Hence X is visible light.

A red laser from the physics lab is marked as producing 632.8-nm light. When light from this laser falls on two closely spaced s
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

fringe separation or fringe width is directly proportional to wavelength .

Δ₁ / Δ₂ = wave length of first laser / wavelength of second laser

Δ₁ is fringe separation in first case and Δ₂ is fringe separation in second case.

putting the given values

632.8 / wavelength of second laser = 4.5 / 4.64

wavelength of second laser  = 632.8 x (4.64 / 4.5)

= 652.48 nm

652 nm

How many years would it take to reach the planet saturn travelling at 21 thousand miles per hour? enter your answer with 2 decim
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

It would take about 4.8 years to travel from earth to Saturn.

<h3>How long would it take?</h3>

We know that speed is expressed as the ratio of distance to time. In this case, we are trying to know ow many years would it take to reach the planet Saturn travelling at 21 thousand miles per hour.

Given that;

Speed = 21 thousand miles per hour

time taken = ???

Distance = 887 million miles

Speed = distance/time

speed * time = distance

time = distance/speed

time = 8.87 * 10^8 miles/2.1 * 10^4  miles per hour

time = 4.22 * 10^4 hours

If 8.766 * 10^3 hours make 1 year

4.22 * 10^4 hours  make 4.22 * 10^4 hours * 1 year/8.766 * 10^3

= 4.8 years

A person travels by car from Tucson to Phoenix at a constant speed of 75 km/hr. They then return from Phoenix to Tucson at a con
kompoz [17]

Answer:

v=0

Explanation:

Knowing that the formula for average velocity is:

v=\frac{x_{2}-x_{1}}{t_{2}-t_{1}}

Being said that, we know that the person's displacement is zero because it returns to its starting point

x_{2}=x_{1}

That means x_{2}-x_{1}=0

v=\frac{0}{t_{2}-t_{1}}=0
