Answer:

99

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum = average × no. of observations

sum = 92 × 3 = 276

276 = 90 + 87 + X

X = 276 - 177

X = 99

So, basically we need to find the mean of all the scores

The mean would be the sum of all scores divided by the number of scores

So we have the information that one score is 90, second score is 87 and she what's to have a total score of 92

Given this information, our equation would be 90+87+x divided by 3 = 92

Where x is the unknown value and the score for the third trimester. We divide by three because that's the amount of scores we are given

With our equation, we add 90 and 87 together,which gives us 177

So, now we have 177+x divided by 3=92

We move three to the other side and it by multiply 92
92*3= 276

177+x= 276

We move 177 to the other side as a negative number to get the value of x
276-177 is equal to 99

So, Maggie must score 99 on her next test to get an average of 92

$8.50/hr multiplied by 16 hours worked equals $136. $136 minus (7.65%)(136) equals $125.60. $125.60 minus (9.15%)(136) equals $113.16. Travel expenses of $6.00 multiplied by 4 equals $24. $113.16 minus 24 equals $89.16 net income.

The surface area of a typical classroom floor is closest to______.
avanturin [10]
Answer would be C. Why A would be incorrect: 100m^2 is 100m × 100 m. That would be as big as a football field. Why B would be incorrect: 1cm^2 is 1cm × 1cm. You can use a regular 15 cm to measure a piece of paper with the length of 1cm each side. Why C would be correct: 1m^2 = 1m × 1m and it is also equals to 60cm × 60 cm. A 1 meter ruler = 60 cm = 4 times of your average 15 cm ruler. So, it is reasonable that a classroom is 10m by 10m in length and breadth. Why D would be incorrect: The same explanation applies to here as well. Things that can be measured with 1m × 1m is a square table so your classroom can't be that small to fit an average of 30 to 40 students in there. I hope my explanations were detailed and easy to understand. :)

Suppose that A is nonsingular. Prove that its inverse A-1 is unique. [Hint: Show that if there exists two matrices, B and C, suc
Bogdan [553]

Answer with Step-by-step explanation:

Let A is non-singular

\mid A\mid\neq 0

We have to prove that A^{-1} is unique.

Suppose B and C are inverse of A such that

BA=I and AC=I

By using property AA^{-1}=A^{-1}A=I

C=C

(BA)C=B(AC)

I\cdot C=B\cdot I

C=B

Hence, the inverse of A is unique.

Is y/7 = 2/x direct variation?
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

It is not direct variation

Step-by-step explanation:

y/7 = 2/x

y = 7×2/x

y = 14/x

And

y = k/x

k = 14 which is the constant of proportionality

: y ∞ 1/x

This is inverse variation
