How many ways are there to travel in xyz space from the origin (0, 0, 0) to the point (4, 3, 5) by taking steps one unit in the

positive x direction, one unit in the positive y direction, or one unit in the positive z direction? (moving in the negative x, y, or z direction is prohibited, so that no backtracking is allowed.)?

I would think you would have to walk the 4 spaces out on the X axis. I would then turn and walk 5 spaces on the Z axis before turning up to walk the last 3 steps on the Y axis.

I think any other way would cause you to move in a negative direction. I hope this helps.

A pizza place charges $5.00 for a cheese pizza and $1.75 for each additional topping. Which equation models the total price of a
inysia [295]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation: This is c because 1.75 t is right because they don't know how many toppings you are going to put on but they do know how much you will automatically have to pay for the pizza itself. That is why it is 1.75t(toppings) plus the 5 dollars for pizza.

Hope this helps!

In rectangle PQRS, PR = 18x – 28 and QS = x + 380. Find the value of x and the length of each diagonal.
chubhunter [2.5K]

Answer:

x = 24, PR = 404, QS = 404

Step-by-step explanation:

PR and QS are both diagonals of the rectangle. The diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other and are of equal length. Thus, we can say:

PR = QS

18x - 28 = x + 380

Solving for x, we get:

18x - x = 380 + 28

17x = 408

x = 408/17

x = 24

Thus, PR = 18(24) - 28 = 404  and  QS = 24 + 380 = 404

Third choice is right.

Calcule o saldo de salário, o funcionário foi admitido em 10 de janeiro como mensalista, salário R$ 1400,00?
Sholpan [36]

Responda:

$ 980

Explicação passo a passo:

Dado que:

Salário mensal = $ 1400

Data de emprego = 10 de janeiro

Usando o sistema de mês de 30 dias:

Taxa diária =. $ 1400/30 = $ 46.66666

Dias não trabalhados = janeiro - 9 de janeiro = 9 dias

Subtraia o salário de 9 dias do total:

Salário total - (9 * taxa diária)

$ 1400 - (9 * $ 46,66666)

$ 1400 - $ 420

= $ 980

Portanto, o saldo do salário é de $ 980

Answer: Yes, because the amount of money you save for every beverage bought is constant, and if you buy 0 beverages, you’ll save $0. That means it the situation is graphed, the line produced will be linear and crosses through the origin, which are the requirements for a proportional relationship.
