How to multiply and divide

Mathematics

Answer:

Multiplication...

Multiplication is just like adding a number to itself multiple times

For example: 3x3 is the same as 3+3+3

Division...

Division is basically splitting up a number between amother lower number, (it might be pretty difficult if you don’t know how to multiply though...)

Start by Rephrasing/re-ordering the equation (9/3 looks like 3*[?] =9)

1) Figure out what Factors equal 9 (by looking at a multiplication table or by adding up like described earlier)

2) You have your answer

(this took way too long to write and you’re probably an idiot if you’re actually in middle school...smh) I can write a different answer if you meant long division, or something else

Caitlin plays on her school basketball team and scored 1/4 of the total points during the first three games. Her team scored 38
horsena [70]

Answer:

33 Points

Step-by-step explanation:

We can figure out that the total number of points scored by the team is 38+45+49=132. Since we know that Caitlin scored 1/4 of these total points, and 1/4 of 132=33, then she scored 33 points during the first three games.

What is the average value of latex: y=\tan\left(\frac{x^2}{9}\right) y = tan ⁡ ( x 2 9 ) on the closed interval [1.25, 2]?
german
For this case we have the following function:
 f(x) =  tan(\frac{x^2}{9})
 The average rate of change is given by:
 AVR =  \frac{f(x2) - f(x1)}{x2- x1}
 Evaluating the function for the given interval we have:
 For x = 1.25:
 f(1.25) = tan(\frac{1.25^2}{9})
 f(1.25) = 0.18
 For x = 2:
 f(2) = tan(\frac{2^2}{9})
 f(2) = 0.48
 Then, replacing values we have:
 AVR = \frac{0.48 - 0.18}{2 - 1.25}
 AVR = 0.4
 Answer:

the average value of on the closed interval [1.25, 2] is:

AVR = 0.4
