Polar is the separation of electric charge leading to a molecule or its chemical groups having an electric dipole or multipole moment.

Non-polar is one in which the electrons are distributed more symmetrically and thus does not have an abundance of charges at the opposite sides.

This means that in a polar bond, the electronegativity of the atoms will be different. For nonpolar bonds the electronegativity of the atoms will be equal. In a polar bond you will have an unequal sharing of electron pairs which causes a molecular dipole. Bonds will cancel or not depending on the shape of the molecule.

Answer:

3.0 moles of water

Explanation:

Having the balanced equation of water production

2H2 (g) + O2 (g) -----> 2H2O (g)

Given that 3.0 moles of hydrogen gas reacts with 1.8 moles of oxygen gas

from the 2 moles of hydrogen are required to react with 1 mole of oxygen

1.8 moles of oxygen,requires 1.8 mol O2 x 2 mol H2/ 1 mol O2 = 3.6 mol H2

this means that H2 is the limiting reagent while oxygen is in excess, thus we use the moles of H2 to find the ,moles of water produced.

from the equation, 2 moles of H2 produces 2 moles of H2O

moles of H2O = 3.0 mol H2 x 2 mol H2O/ 2mol H2 = 3.0 molH2O

Therefore 3.0 moles of water are produced.

emmasim [6.3K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Upon arrival we needed to hunt in this new land we only had five refills and they needed 50 g of gunpowder to be shot once. We only have 15 pounds of gunpowder. It is taking six shots to kill one of these wild turkeys. How many turkeys can be shot with 15 pounds of gunpowder?

If we had plenty of refills, and it takes 6 shots to kill a wild turkey at 50 gms of gunpowder per shot, then each turkey requires 6X50 =300gms of gunpowder. We have 15X454 gms of gunpowder and have the potential to kill 15X454/300=22.7 or 22 turkeys.and it takes 6 shots to kill a wild turkey.

The limiting reagent is the number of refills, and withonly 5, we are out of luck and can't kill one turkey

Is TI a element compound or molecule
amid [387]

I can't tell if the "Tl" is a capital T and lowercase L, or if it is a capital i. If it is a lowercase L, it is an element. But if it it is a capital i, then it is a compound. The way I know if it is a compound or element is because if there is only one capital letter, it indicates that only one element is present, therefore making it an element. Although if there is more than one capital letter, it must be a compound because two elements are chemically put together, creating a compound.
