Just graph it... Firstly though, do you know what a function is?
Google linear function, parabolic function, exponential function etc. to get familiar with what a function looks like.

Firstly, no function that I know has
(4, 5) and (4, -4) where there are two y coordinates for 1 x coordinate.
It is not linear, parabolic, or exponential, it could be some other type of function. But assuming you're in high school i'd say its safe to bet the answer is FALSE.

What is the area of a sector when r = 2 and 0 = 1.75 radians? [?] sq units Round your answer to the nearest tenth. Enter
krok68 [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a sector in terms of radians as opposed to degrees is

A=\frac{\theta}{2\pi }*\pi r^2

Filling in the formula accordingly gives us

A=\frac{1.75rad}{2\pi rad}*\pi (2)^2

The radians cancel out, the pi's cancel out, the 2 in the denominator cancels out (divides into 2-squared once), leaving us with

A = 1.75(2) so

A = 3.5 units squared

A three inch diameter pulley on an electric motor that runs at 1800
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

a) 3 inch pulley: 11,309.7 radians/min

6) 6 inch pulley: 5654.7 radians/min

b) 900 RPM (revolutions per minute)

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi!

When a pulley wirh radius R rotantes an angle θ, the arc length travelled by a point on its rim is Rθ.  Then the tangential speed V is related to angular speed  ω as:

V=R\omega

When you connect two pulleys with a belt, if the belt doesn't slip, each point of the belt has the same speed as each point in the rim of both pulleys: Then, both pulleys have the same tangential speed:

\omega_1 R_1 = \omega_2 R_2\\

\omega_2 = \omega_1 \frac{R_1}{R_2} =1800RPM* \frac{3}{6}= 900RPM

We need to convert RPM to radias per minute. One revolution is 2π radians, then:

\omega_1 = 1800*2\pi \frac{radians}{min} = 11,309.7\frac{radians}{min}

\omega_2 = 5654.7 \frac{radians}{min}

The saw rotates with the same angular speed as the 6 inch pulley: 900RPM
