x = \frac{60}{9} and x = \frac{45}{8}

Since in both cases the figures are similar then the ratios of corresponding sides are equal

\frac{x}{15} = \frac{4}{9} ( cross- multiply )

9x = 60 ( divide both sides by 9 )

x = \frac{60}{9}

and \frac{x}{5} = \frac{9}{8}

8x = 45 ( divide both sides by 8 )

x = \frac{45}{8}

As part of a new fitness plan, Sabir walks on a treadmill at the same speed for 15 minuets every morning. The table shows the ca
Reil [10]
The relationship between Sabir and calories he burns can be modeled using a linear function given by:
y=ax+b
where
a=slope
b=y-intercept
from the graph, the slope will be given as follows:
taking points (3,15) and (12,60)
a=(60-15)/(12-3)=5 calories/minute
thus using the slope and a point (3,15) the equation will be:
a(x1-x)=(y1-y)
plugging the values we obtain:
5(x-3)=y-15
5x-15=y-15
thus
y=5x
thus the equation is:
y=5x

EleoNora [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!

From the given figure;

An exterior angle is 127°.

To find: value of"X"

Now;

x+127° = 180°. [Being linear pair]

or, X = 180° - 127°

or, X = 53°

Therefore, the value of "X" is 53°.
