Certainly, yes.  P is calculated thru mult. and addn., whereas A is calc. thru mult. alone.

Think of 2 rect., one 3 by 4 units.  What is the perimeter?  the area?  Suppose that the other rect. were 2 by 6 units.  What is the perim.?  the area?

Are the areas the same or diff?  Are the perimeters the same or diff?

The deli gets 1212 -pound blocks of cheese. They slice the cheese into \frac{1}{4} 4 1 - pound and \frac{1}{2} 2 1 - pound p
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

24

Step-by-step explanation:

Based on the question given :

Total pounds of cheese = 12

These cheese are sliced into 1/4 pounds and 1/2 pounds packages.

What the question requests is the number of 1/2 pounds fraction we can get from the total 12 pounds of cheese.

This means we aren't cutting out 1/4 pounds fraction from this package as the question didn't specify.

Hence, the number of 1/2 pounds fraction obtainable from 12 pounds of cheese I s:

We divide the 12 pounds cheese by 1/2

This gives :

12 ÷ 1/2 ; 12 / 1/2

÷ change to multiplication ond the reciprocal of the denominator is used

12 * 2 /1 = 24 /1

We Obtain 24 1/2-pound cheese

The sum of the squares of two nonnegative numbers is 327. The product of the two numbers is 101. What is the sum of the two numb
Verizon [17]
A) x² + y² = 327
B) x * y = 101
Solving equation B for y²
B) y² = 10,201 / x²
Substituting this into equation A)
x² + 10,201 / x² = 327
x^4 + 10,201 = 327x²
x^4  -327x²  + 10,201 = 0
Using the quartic equation calculator: http://www.1728.org/quartic.htm
x1 = 17.090169943749476
x2 = 5.909830056250525

x1 * x2 = 101
x1 + x2 = 23

deff fn [24]
I haven’t done this type of math in a long time so I am not 100% sure but I do remember that all you have to do is count how much heads there is in the first row and how much tails there were in the first row and you keep doing this for all of the rows. Hope that helped:))

A
postnew [5]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Complementary angles sum to 90°, thus

∠A ∠B = 90 ← substitute values

5x - 27 + 4x - 27 = 90, that is

9x - 54 = 90 ( add 54 to both sides )

9x = 144 ( divide both sides by 9 )

x = 16

Hence

∠A = 5x - 27 = (5 × 16) - 27 = 80 - 27 = 53°

∠B = 4x - 27 = (4 × 16) - 27 = 64 - 27 = 37°
