Well lets start by saying that if a gallon of water weights 8.5 pounds and a bucket/container holds 412 gallons you just need to multiply the amount of storage in the container by the weight of the water 412*8.5 witch is 3502 lb or pounds

A. Stiles. For Melendez, each family member uses about 390 kilowatts of electricity. For Barton, each family member uses about 355 kilowatts of energy. Stiles uses 745 kilowatts per family member. 745 divided by 355 rounds up to 2 while 745 divided by 390 rounds up to 2. This means that the Stiles family uses twice the amount of electricity per person than the other families.

b. The Melendez family. The Melendez family uses 875 gallons per family member. The Barton family uses about 1067 gallons of water while the Stiles family uses about 1250 gallons. 875< 1067< 1250. This means that the Melendez family uses the least amount of water per family member.

❖ Jeff will earn $267.20 in a 32 hour week.

Divide to find how much he gets paid per hour:

$334 ÷ 40 = $8.35

Multiply the cost per hour by 32 hrs to get the total amount he'll get paid:

$8.35 × 32 = $267.20

pogonyaev

Answer:

a. Yes. The difference is common and equal to $1750

b. $1750

c. $20000 was initial investment

d. This is linear equation with start point of 20000 and slope of 1750:

  • y = 1750x + 20000

e. After another 10 years (on the top of 5 given) the investment will be:

  • y = 1750*15 + 20000 = $46250

f. After 20 years the value of investment will be:

  • y = 1750*20 + 20000 = $55000

Need help ASAP !!! And show work please
sammy [17]

Answer:

\sqrt{40} or 6.32

Step-by-step explanation:

We can find the distance between two points by using this formula

d=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

where the x and y values are derived from the given points

The points given are ( -2 , 5 ) and ( 4 , 3 )

So we plug in the x and y values of those coordinates into the distance formula

\sqrt{(4-(-2)^2+(3-5)^2} \\4-(-2)=6\\3-5=-2\\d=\sqrt{6^2+-2^2} \\6^2=36\\-2^2=4\\36+4=40\\d=\sqrt{40}

or 6.32
