First you want to cross multiply. 2x+5 * 18 = 36x+90 and x * 6 = 6x. so then you would have 6x = 36x+90. now you want to sinplify. subtract 36x from both sides and you get -30x = 90. divide by -30 to get x to stand alone. x = -3

Can anyone help me with 9th-grade geometry?
katovenus [111]

Answer:

See below.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given info the 2 triangles are isosceles with AE = FR and ET = RP because the 2  sets of base angles are equal.

As the base angles are congruent  m < E = m < R.

So the are  2 triangles are congruent by SAS,  ASA and AAS.

Geometry help please!
photoshop1234 [79]

Algebra is number 3 - You have subtracted the measure of angle HKI from the equation.

Transitive property of equality is number 2 - Because both pairs of angles equal 180 degrees, you can set them equal to each other.

Definition of congruence is number 4 - The congruence symbol is in the equation, which tells you that the two angles are congruent.

Angles forming a linear pair sum to 180 degrees is number 1 - 180 degrees is in the equations given and the angles all form linear pairs.

Hope this helps!! :)
