A transformation happen when the shape changes.
There are four transformations
translation
rotation
reflection
dilation

translation, rotation and reflection do not change the shape or the size of the shape and are known as rigid motions

A transformation is the movement or change in size of a shape on a graph.

The four types:
Dilation: Change of size.
Rotation: A clockwise turn in each of the four quadrants in a graph.
Translation: Simply relocating the shape.
Reflection: Mirroring the shape across either the y or x axis.
