1 gallon = 8 pints. 1 quart = 2 pints.
1 gallon 2 quarts 3 pints of orange juice = 15 pints
1 gallon 3 quarts 7 pints of pineapple juice = 21 pints
1 gallon 3 quarts 3 pints of ginger ale = 17 pints.
Total in pints: 53
Total = 6 gallon 2 quarts 1 pint.

Answer:

The total liquid measure of the punch  is:

6 gallons 2 quarts and 1 pint

Step-by-step explanation:

Walt combines:

1 gallon 2 quarts 3 pints of orange juice

1 gallon 3 quarts 7 pints of orange juice

1 gallon 3 quarts 3 pints of ginger ale

If you add these quantities it becomes:

3 gallons 8 quarts 13 pints:

We know that 2 pints make a quart so 13 pints will make 6 quarts and 1 pint:

So quarts become = 8+6 =14quarts

Therefore it becomes,

3 gallons 14 quarts and 1 pint

Then,

4 quarts make a gallon, thus 14 quarts are 3 gallons and 2 quarts.

Therefore the gallons become = 3+3 = 6 gallons

Thus the total liquid measure of the punch  is:

6 gallons 2 quarts and 1 pint....

A man (M) is standing on the bank of a river that is 0.9 miles wide. He wants to reach a house (B) on the opposite shore that is
atroni [7]

Answer:

The distance between the hose and the point (P) is 0.9 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we have

Speed of rowing the boat = 3 mph

Speed of waling = 4.5 mph

Since the speed of walking is more than that of to row the  boat, the location of where he should dock his boat in order to minimize the total time he would need to reach the house is the shortest distance across the river to the house

Therefore the location of the point (P) should be directly opposite the house across the water and the distance id 0.9 miles.

What's is the square root of 63
QveST [7]
You want to be finding out what two factors (where one of them is a perfect square) has the produce of 63. It seems like 9 x 7 (9 is the perfect square) works.

\sqrt{63} =  \sqrt{9 \times 7} = \sqrt{9} \times \sqrt{7}

The square root of 9 is 3 so we can just have 3 \sqrt{7} (which just means 3 times the square root of 7).
