Pulleys are powerful simple machines.they can change the direction of a force which can make it much easier for us to make something.

Example:
If we want to lift something that weights 10 kilograms one meter high we can lift it straight up or we can use a pulley se we can pull down on one end to lift the object up

The mass of the particles that a river can transport is proportional to the sixth power of the speed of the river. A certain riv
kow [346]

Answer:

1.122 m/s

Explanation:

So usually a river with a speed of 1 meters per second can transport particle that weighs:

1^6 = 1 kg

If the particle is twice as massive as usual, then its weights would be 1 * 2 = 2kg

This means the river must be flowing at a speed of

2^{\frac{1}{6}} = 1.122 m/s

If a 60-watt bulb is used to light a room, how much current is flowing through the bulb given that the voltage is 120 volts?
Pavel [41]
 Well, if I understand correctly, I think it'd be 60, because 60+60= 120, but I may be wrong. It's not my best subject, but why not try to help even though I suck lol.

luda_lava [24]

Answer:

A: used has four times the tensile strength of steel and the timber frame, incorporating

Explanation:

Option A is correct because it conveys the correct message intended by the statement and has no grammatical errors.

Option B is wrong because to say "has four times the tensile strength of steel has" is just grammatically and idiomatically wrong as has is used twice in the sentence.

Option C is wrong because the statement that has to do with the flexibility of the timber's frame is more like a separate fact and does not fall under the scope of trying to further explain a fact.

Option D is wrong because it has the same problem in Option C. The comma that is placed after "steel" breaks the sentence and hence does not provide a good understanding of why the building can withstand earthquakes.

Option E is grammatically wrong for using does in the sentence "has four times the tensile strength steel does"

As a rock sinks deeper and deeper into water of constant density, what happens to the buoyant force on it? As a rock sinks deepe
Sidana [21]

Answer:

It remains constant

Explanation:

As we know that buoyant force on an object given as

Fb = ρ Vd g

ρ= Density of fluid

Vd=Volume displace by body

g=10 m/s²

Fb =buoyant force

So from above we can say that buoyant force does not depends on the depth. It only depends on the fluid density and volume displace by body.

So when rock gets deeper and deeper the buoyant force will remain constant.

It remains constant
