Can one angle of a parallelogram be equal to 40° and another one 50°?

This could not be a possible scenario. Parallelograms have opposite equal angles. This means that two of its angles and equal, and the other two are equal. If two of the angles are equal to 40 and two are equal to 50, the interior angle measures would sum to 180, in reality, all interior angles of a quadrilateral have to sum to 360. That is why this would not work.

There are five times as many cars as trucks on the road. Which fraction represents the number of vehicles that are trucks?
jonny [76]
Well, the ratio of cars to trucks is 5:1, so for every 1 truck, there are 5 cars, the sum would be 6. So that's the denominator, and then the numerator would be 1, since there's only 1 truck out of every 6 vehicles.

Owen can jog 660 yards in 3 minutes. how many yards would you expect him to jog in 10 minutes?
pshichka [43]

Answer: 2200 yards

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the unit rate, 660/3 = 220

So, Owen can jog 220 yards in one minute.

220 times 10 to find how much Owen can jog in 10 minutes.

220*10 = 2200.
