This could not be a possible scenario. Parallelograms have opposite equal angles. This means that two of its angles and equal, and the other two are equal. If two of the angles are equal to 40 and two are equal to 50, the interior angle measures would sum to 180, in reality, all interior angles of a quadrilateral have to sum to 360. That is why this would not work.

A conical container can hold 120π cubic centimeters of water. The diameter of the base of the container is 12 centimeters.
nignag [31]

Answer:

A. 10cm

B. 8 times

Step-by-step explanation:

The question is on volume of a conical container

Volume of a cone= \pi r^{2} h/3

where r is the radius of base and h is the height of the cone

Given diameter= 12 cm, thus radius r=12/2 =6 cm

v=\pi r^2h/3 \\120\pi =\pi *6*6*h/3\\120\pi =12\pi h\\10=h

h=10 cm

B.

If height and diameter were doubled

New height = 2×10 =20 cm

New diameter = 2×12 = 24, r=12 cm

volume = v=\pi r^2h/3\\v=\pi *12*12*20/3\\v=960\pi

To find the number of times we divide new volume with the old volume

N= 960\pi /120\pi \\\\N= 8

A rectangular prism has a volume of 360 in3. If the height measures 6in. which base measurements could the prism have?
Daniel [21]

Answer:

Both sides that are parallel ( 6 inches I believe ) would be 12 in total for both sides. Then the top and bottom would be 3 inches ( I believe ) which would be 6. I think you need to do 6 times 12 until you get 360 and then see how many times you multiplied it and that is your answer. But I am not FULLY sure. Hope this helps somehow!

Find the value of x.
lawyer [7]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{x=\sqrt{70}}

Step-by-step explanation:

ΔABC and ΔADB are similar (AAA).

Therefore the corresponging sides are in proportion:

\dfrac{AB}{AD}=\dfrac{AC}{AB}

Substitute:

AB=x\\AC=7+3=10\\AD=7

\dfrac{x}{7}=\dfrac{10}{x}       <em>cross multiply</em>

(x)(x)=(7)(10)\\\\x^2=70\to x=\sqrt{70}
