There are many solutions. But what do you mean with a perfect square of a number. I thought a number IS a perfect square or not.

For example, the difference between 2² and 4² = 12, which is twice the number 6, which is √36

The difference between 2² and 6² = 32, which is twice the number 16, which is a perfect square.

So choose depending on your interpretation of the question... ;-)

ANSWER PLZZ!!
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

This answer involves finding the circumference of the circle which is basically the length of the entire perimeter of the garden

Step-by-step explanation:

Circumference = 2 * pi * radius

2 * pi * 9 ft = 56 ft

So it depends how many flowers she wants to plant per each foot. If she wants to plant 1 flower per foot the answer is 56 flowers.

A carousel with a 40-foot radius makes 2 rpms. What is the linear speed of the carousel?
elena-s [515]

I believe its

40*2*1/2*pi meters per second

which is just

40pi meters per second

if you need it simplified, its

125.66370meters per second

Y+5=2(x+1) find x and y intercepts
Andrej [43]

The x and the y intercept are x = 1.5 and y = -3

How to determine the x and the y intercept?

The linear equation is given as:

y + 5 = 2(x + 1)

Set x to 0 to determine the y-intercept.

So, we have:

y + 5 = 2(0 + 1)

This gives

y + 5 = 2

Evaluate

y = -3

Set y to 0 to determine the x-intercept.

So, we have:

0 + 5 = 2(x + 1)

This gives

5 = 2(x + 1)

Evaluate

x = 1.5

Hence, the x and the y intercept are x = 1.5 and y = -3
