The true descriptions regarding muscles are; Cardiac muscles and skeletal muscles are striated, heart (cardiac) and digestive (smooth) muscles are involuntary muscles, cardiac muscles work to pump blood. Skeletal muscles are the muscles that attach to the bones and their main function i contracting to facilitate movement of our skeletons. Smooth muscle are found in walls of hollow organs such as the stomach and are stimulated by involuntary action. While the cardiac muscles are found solely in the walls of the heart, they are highly specialized and under the control of of the autonomic nervous system.

What happens in the process of transcription
dolphi86 [110]
During the process of transcription, a portion of a DNA molecule is used to create a mRNA Molecule. DNA stores genetic information in the nucleus of your cells. When RNA molecules are produced it happens inside the nucleus. The RNA molecule can then leave the nucleus and travel to ribosomes which are located in the cytoplasm and attached to endoplasmic reticulum. The RNA will be used to create proteins molecules.

Korvikt [17]

Dark fur color appears to be an adaptation for mice living in dark environments, as both the frequency of the characteristic and the allele that generates it have altered. These findings further back with the theory that selection is context-dependent, as dark mice were preferred in some contexts but not in others.

What is mutation?

A mutation is defined as a change in the sequence of genetic letters, called bases, within a molecule of DNA.

In a population, more offspring are born than can survive, resulting in competition among people. Individuals that possess a certain trait are more likely to live and/or produce more offspring than those who do not possess that trait. The context in which a species exists influences its selection. Characteristics that are advantageous in one setting may be detrimental in another.

New mutations cause black color.

 1. Fur color is controlled by many genes (4:29).
 2. Most genes are identical, but dark and light rock
 3. pocket mice differ in one gene (Mc1r; 4:55).
