X 20%
_ = _ you can simplify 20/100
55,000. 100%

then you multiply 55,000 by 20 (or 1 of you simplified) and x by 100(or 5). It is cross-multipliction.

20% is 20/100   and of means multiplication so
20% of 55,000 is
20/100*55,000=11000
To find a percentage of things means that if that thing were to be divided into a hundred, how many parts will make up that percentage?
For instance if you have a big loaf of bread and 50% is to be given to your little brother, divide the bread into a hundred parts and give 50 to him.
50% of 100=50

Find the pattern in the Fibonacci sequence and identify the next two terms.
klasskru [66]

For the Fibonacci sequence you add the two previous numbers. You always start with 0, 1 and you add 0 and 1 which makes 1 then 1 + 1 makes two and so on. The next number in the sequence would be 34 + 55, meaning 89, and after that would be 55 + 89, or 144.

State the various transformations applied to the base function f(x)=|x| to obtain a graph of the function g(x) = |x| − 2.
Molodets [167]

Horizontal shift of 1 unit to the left and a vertical shift downward of 2 units.

<h3>Transformation of function</h3>

Transformation technique is a way of changing the position of an object on an xy-plane.

Given the parent function of a modulus function f(x) = |x|, the graph of the function g(x) = |x| - 2 shows a vertical translation of the parent function down by 2 units.

The resulting graph of the translated function is as shown below
