A typical 12-V car battery can deliver about 750,000 C of charge before dying. This is not a lot of charge. As a comparison, cal
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

3.982 kg

Explanation:

The latent heat of vaporization = 540 cal/g

= 5.4 ×10⁵ cal/kg

L = 5.4 ×10⁵ × 4.19

  = 2.26 × 10⁶ J/kg

Q = 12 × 750,000

= 9, 000, 000

= 9 × 10⁶ J

the maximum number of kg of water (at 100 degrees Celsius) that could be boiled into steam (at 100 degrees Celsius) is:

= \frac{ 9*10^6}{2.26*10^6 }

= 3.982 kg

Consider the potential energy diagram shown below. This graph shows the chemical potential energy in a reaction system over time
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

A. Endothermic reaction.

B. +150KJ.

C. 250KJ.

Explanation:

A. The graph represents endothermic reaction because the heat of the product is higher than the heat of the reactant.

B. Determination of the enthalpy change, ΔH for the reaction. This can be obtained as follow:

Heat of reactant (Hr) = 50KJ

Heat of product (Hp) = 200KJ

Enthalphy change (ΔH) =..?

Enthalphy change = Heat of product – Heat of reactant.

ΔH = Hp – Hr

ΔH = 200 – 50

ΔH = +150KJ

Therefore, the enthalphy change for the reaction is +150KJ

C. The activation energy for the reaction is the energy at the peak of the diagram.

From the diagram, the activation energy is 250KJ.

The 94-lb force P is applied to the 220-lb crate, which is stationary before the force is applied. Determine the magnitude and d
Makovka662 [10]

Answer

given,

force = 94 lb

weight of crate = 220 lb

Assuming the static friction be equal = 0.47

                       kinetic friction = 0.36

Maximum force applied to move the object is when object is just start to move.

F = μ N

F = 0.47 x 220

F = 103.4 lb

As the frictional force is more than applied then the object will not move.

so, the friction force will be equal to the force applied on the object that is equal to 94 lb.

hence, the direction of force will left.
