Answer:

⇒Absolute Value of a Number is always Positive , while the opposite of a number is finding the Additive inverse of a Number, that is they add to zero, when two opposite numbers are added.

|+x|=x, |+5|=5

|-x|=x, |-5|=5

And Opposite of 5 is -5 and Opposite of -5 is 5 because, -5+5=0 ,also, addition satisfies commutative Property, so (+5)+(-5)=0, will give same result.

What is the meaning of the slope of the line ?
Mila [183]

Step-by-step explanation: In algebra, we use the word slope to describe how steep a line is and slope can be found using the ratio rise/run between any two points that are on that line.

The ratio rise/run is the equal to the rate of change

or the change in y/change in x.

In algebra, the rate of change or the change in y/change in x or

the rise/run is also called the slope of a line.
