The object that is subjected to a steady centripetal force moves in a circular motion. If this force suddenly disappear, the object moves in a direction tangential to the circle with respect to the last direction of the centripetal force.

How is this formula ( Rt= r1 x r2 / r1 + r2) which is used to calculate total resistance of two parallel resistors found from th
Maru [420]

Explanation:

The total resistance used to calculate the total resistance of the two parallel resistor is given by :

R_t=\dfrac{r_1\times r_2}{r_1+r_2}

Taking reciprocal of the above equation.

\dfrac{1}{R_t}=\dfrac{r_1+r_2}{r_1\times r_2}

We can also write the above equation as :

\dfrac{1}{R_t}=\dfrac{r_1}{r_1\times r_2}+\dfrac{r_2}{r_1\times r_2}

On simplification of above equation,

\dfrac{1}{R_t}=\dfrac{1}{r_2}+\dfrac{1}{r_1}

or

\dfrac{1}{R_t}=\dfrac{1}{r_1}+\dfrac{1}{r_2}

Hence, proved.

A child pulls on a wagon with a force of 75 N. If the wagon moves a total of 42 m in 3.1 min, what is the average power delivere
exis [7]

Answer:

16.96 W

Explanation:

Power: This can be defined as the rate at which work is done by an object. The S.I unit of power is Watt(W).

From the question,

P = (F×d)/t....................... Equation 1

Where P = power, F = force, d = distance, t = time.

Given: F = 75 N, d = 42 m, t = 3.1 min = 3.1×60 = 186 s

Substitute these values into equation 1

P = (75×42)/186

P = 16.94 W

Hence the average power delivered by the child  = 16.96 W

A chemist must dilute 55.6 ml of 1.48 M aqueous silver nitrate (AgNO3)solution until the concentration falls to 1.00 M. He'll do
Orlov [11]

Answer:

82.2 mL

Explanation:

The process of adding water to a solution to make it more dilute is known as dilution. The formula for dilution is;

C1V1=C2V2

Where;

C1= concentration of stock solution

V1= volume of stock solution

C2= concentration of dilute solution

V2= volume of dilute solution

V2= C1V1/C2

V2= 1.48 × 55.6/ 1.0

V2= 82.2 mL

Why can’t the high-quality energy released from a lump of burning coal be recycled?
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

when energy changes from one form to another, it always goes from a more useful to a less useful form. This means that people can't recycle or reuse high quality energy to perform useful work.
