Negative, as regulation by the hormone itself means there is an excess, so negative feedback is most likely.
While the other is positive for another stimulant is secreted to stimulate the secretion of the hormone.
I am not pretty sure, but I really feel like it is the right answer as much as I remember.
Hope this helps.

After reading the description attached to the graph represented on the picture, I would say that the resistance gene was present in the aphid population as a result of changes in the aphids’ local habitat by the insecticide. I consider the second option as a correct one because according to the amount of spreading of insecticide per year there was a possibility that it caused a such a change.

Complete Question

When an appropriate odor or taste molecule binds to its receptor, an excitatory postsynaptic potential (EPSP) is generated. Does this mean a signal goes directly to the brain and the odor or taste is perceived by the brain?

A. Yes, because if an EPSP is generated then the cell was depolarized and the signal was sent to the brain.

B. Yes, because if an EPSP is generated then the match between the molecule and its receptor was appropriate and the signal was sent to the brain.

C. No, because although each EPSP is sent to the brain, the brain doesn't perceive the odor or taste unless an appropriate number of EPSPs are sent by the taste or odor sensory cells.

D. No, because enough of the appropriate molecules must bind to the receptors for a summed response from all the EPSPs to generate an action potential that is transmitted to the brain

Answer:

D. No, because enough of the appropriate molecules must bind to the receptors for a summed response from all the EPSPs to generate an action potential that is transmitted to the brain.

Explanation:

Excitatory postsynaptic potential (EPSP) is an action potential that is generated by an excitatory postsynaptic cell.

Excitatory postsynaptic potential occurs when the Calcium ions channels are opened by chemicals known as neurotransmitters.

Excitatory postsynaptic potential causes the local depolarization of a cell membrane to occur which gives a graded response.

In order for an excitatory postsynaptic potential to create or cause an action potential to take place, the necessary or appropriate molecules must be joined to the receptors.

Where is life suggested to have begun?
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

Life is suggested to have started in an aquatic ecosystem - the ocean.

Explanation:

For decades, life has been suggested to have started in an aquatic environment due to evidence of ancient fossils and chemical studies.

Recently, scientists have been able to narrow these suggestions to state that life originated in a deep sea hydrothermal vent. This hypothesis arised due to the presence of chemicals that are thought to have produced the chemical reactions that are necessary for the evolution of life.

The first living forms on Earth were single-celled micro-organisms called stromatolites - rock-like structures formed by cyanobacteria - that appeared around four billion years ago. Interestingly, we are still able to find these ancient creatures but only in specific regions of the world such as Cuatro Cienegas, Coahuila in Mexico.
