Explanation:

The Hippocratic Oath that is taken by doctors was started in Greece. The very first Hippocratic Oath was written around 400 B.C. In that very first oath, the idea of privacy was mentioned. However, it was not until August 21, 1996 that a law was made. It was  President Clinton that signed the bill into law. The law is known as the HIPPA law.
