The answer is C.) a hot dog (5g protein), 2 tsp. peanut butter (7 g protein) and 1/4 cup broccoli (1g protein).  That adds up to 13 grams of protein. The child should have 0.36 grams of protein per pound of weigh based on his age, according to dietary recommendations. Multiply 0.36 * 34 = 12.24   that is required for the child. Answer is the best answer it adds up to 13 grams.

If you ate bacon and fried eggs for breakfast, the largest component of the energy would come from the ______.
shtirl [24]

The correct answer is fats.

Bacon and eggs are animal products, which are high in fats, including saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Furthermore, both bacon and fried eggs are fried using fats such as oils or butter, further increasing the amount of fat consumed. While fried eggs and bacon also contain a good amount of protein, the fat content is higher, and thus, the largest component of the energy from bacon and fried eggs would come from fat.
