Yuliya22 [10]

Cancer cells can reproduce rapidly because they spend less time in interphase.

<u>Explanation</u>:

Due to the new faults in the gene and mutations cancer cell results in faster growth. And also can spread all over the body. So as become resistant to the treatments. Cancer cells avoids the signals and keep on destroying the body cells. They never undergo apoptosis when should go, so they are referred as the immortals. These cells use body’s protein and fat as fuel to undergo their processes in the absence of sugar. Excess sugar also acts as fuel for the growth of the cancer cells.

What’s Newton’s first law
Klio2033 [76]
Newton’s first law had to do with inertia, which is a property that explains that something in motion will continue in motion unless stopped by a force of some sort.

“An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.”

How many nucleotides are needed to code for an amino acid
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer:

Three nucleotide

Explanation:

Three nucleotides are required to code for one amino acid. There are four types of nucleotides A, T, G, C which make DNA. So a doublet of nucleotide code which involves only two nucleotide would be insufficient to code for 20 amino acids because if 4 different nucleotide is taken two at a time then it can only produce 16 amino acid(4²=16).

But if we take three-nucleotide than the number reaches 64 which is more than sufficient to code for 20 different amino acids(4³= 64). Therefore 3 nucleotides are needed to code for an amino acid.
