A pair of supplementary angles have measures of x° and (x + 8)°. What is the value of x? Please show work, Thanks!

If you have supplementary angles, that means that the angles have to add up to 180°. So x+(x+8)=180° So I would combine like terms 2x+8=180 Now subtract by 8 on both sides  which gives me 2x=172 now divide by 2 and x equals 86°! I hoped this helped you!

So at the beginning, the friends eat 3 meat pies in total. So that leaves two meat pies left. 
So basically, we divide the meat pies by the number of friends.
2/6 is 1/3
So each friend needs to eat 1/3 of a meat pie
