I would say that two products of the earth are coal and petroleum and when they are burned say in a car or a power generating facility they can be converted to fossil fuels. The burning of these fossil fuels are causing too much greenhouse gases and making the earth's temperature rise and resulting in more extreme weather so fossil fuels need to be phased out so the earth will remain inhabitable for humans.

In the diagram, what type of mutation is shown?
jeka94

Answer:

substitution - a base was changed

Explanation:

The nucleotide sequence CTT was changed to the sequence CAT. The T was substituted with an A. This changed the encoded amino acid from Glu to Val.

An insertion is where an additional base is added (e.g. if the sequence changed from CTT to CATT)

A deletion is when a base is lost (e.g. if the sequence changed from CTT to CT)

Why is technology not the solution to all scientific problems?
Tresset [83]

Answer:

Science can not solve all of our problems. While scientific understanding can help battle things like disease, hunger, and poverty when applied properly, it does not do so completely and automatically. Furthermore, there are many areas of life where science can have little impact.
