Answer:

width = 3 1/4 yards

Explanation:

The area of a rectangle is given by the formula: area = (length*width). given the area and the length, we can rearrange the formula: (area/length) = width, then, remplacing the values we got: 14\frac{1}{2} square yards / 4\frac{1}{3} yards = width, then, we rearrange the fraction as follows: 14\frac{1}{2}square yards= \frac{(14*12)+1}{2}=\frac{169}{12}square yards ; and 4\frac{1}{3} yards= \frac{(4*3)+1}{3}=\frac{13}{3} yards, then \frac{\frac{169}{12} }{\frac{13}{3} } yards= \frac{169*3}{12*13}yards = \frac{507}{156}yards, and finally we simplify \frac{\frac{507}{13} }{\frac{153}{13} } =\frac{\frac{39}{3} }{\frac{12}{3} } yards=3\frac{1}{4}yards

Convert this to improper fractions (14-1/2 sq yds = 169/12 sq yds) and (4-1/3 sq yds = 13/3 sq yds) divide 169/12 by 13/3 and you get 507/156 sq yds which is equal to 3-1/4 sq yds.

How are all courts, except the US Supreme Court, established?
dmitriy555 [2]
Congress created a rudimentary federal court system in The Judiciary Act of 1789. Although Article III of the Constitution mandated a US Supreme Court, the Court was actually established by the same 1789 legislation.

timama [110]

Answer:

id

Explanation:

Cookie Monster has an intense urge to consume cookies, even when doing so is irrational and maladaptive. Eating cookies gives Cookie Monster a great source of pleasure and satisfaction. Freud would say that his behavior reflects the fact that Cookie Monster is ruled by his ____id___.

As indicated by Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic hypothesis of character, the id is the character part made up of oblivious mystic vitality that attempts to fulfill essential urges, needs, and wants. The id works dependent on the delight standard, which requests prompt satisfaction of requirements.

In this case, by eating cookies, Cookie Monster  satisfies his desire of consuming them and takes pleasure and satisfaction.

What document and principles were influenced by the Enlightenment philosophers?
Xelga [282]
<span>The Enlightment idea that reason trumped tradition is what pervaded the entire process of the writing of the Constitution. But the ProtestantEstablishment of the time viewed the enlightenment as anti religious. Historian Daniel Boorstin had significant influence when he wrote that the American Revolution was not due to a pervading influence of the Enlightment. Rather it was the common experience of the colonies of oppression.  I recommend looking at the Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of the American Enlightenment</span>
