The correct answer is this: A JOURNAL IS THE SAME AS A PERSONAL NARRATIVE.
A  personal journal is a form of a personal diary and is often a record of incidences, ideas and events that the journal keeper experiences. A keeper usually keep a journal in order to record and reflect on life's events. The records kept in a journal can later be developed into formal essay, articles or stories.

Describe Melantho’s character. Define the term foil and explain how Melantho is used as a foil for Eurycleria. (The Odyssey)
Pavlova-9 [17]

A foil in literature describes a character who contrasts with another character in order to make comparisons and highlight certain traits between these two persons.

Both Melantho and Eurycleia are servants of Odysseus. While Melantho is unloyal, (sleeping with the suitors while Odysseus is away) and treating him rudely when he returns disguised as a beggar, Eurycleia remains devoted and kind. Melantho is used as a foil for Eurycleia to showcase her good traits.
