Thes first rule is correct.

Another way of doing it is:

Sum the digits of the number. If the result is divisible into nine, then the original number itself will also be.

Example:

18 = 1+8 = 9. 9 is divisible into 9.

27 = 2+7 = 9. 9 is divisible into 9.

Wish you luck!

Given the function, f(x)=/x-2+3, choose the correct transformation.
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

Right 2, up 3

Step-by-step explanation:

In the vertex form transformations....

f(x) = a(x-h)²+k

  • a - indicates vertical stretches, compression, and/or a reflection across the x-axis.
  • h - indicates only on the x-axis. Negative = Goes right, Positive - goes left
  • k - indicates only on the y-axis. Positive = up, negative = down

(-8,-2);m=3/4 in point slope form
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

          y + 2 = ³/₄(x + 8)

Step-by-step explanation:

The point-slope form of the equation that describes the line with a slope of m and containing the point (x₀, y₀) is: y - y₀ = m(x - x₀)

m = ³/₄

(-8, -2)  ⇒    x₀ = -8,  y₀ = -2

Therefore:

y - (-2) = ³/₄(x - (-8))

y + 2 = ³/₄(x + 8)

120 is what percent of 60
Savatey [412]
To solve this problem lets assume, that the number 60 is 100% - because it's the output value of the task. We assume, that x is the value we are looking for. If 100% equals 60, so we can write it down as 100%=60. We know, that x% equals 120 of the output value, so we can write it down as x%=120. Now we have two simple equations:
1)100%=60
2) x%=120
where left sides of both of them have the same units, and both right sides have the same units, so we can do something like that: 100%/x%=60/120.
Now we just have to solve the simple equation, and we will get the solution we are looking for.

Solution for 120 is what percent of 60

100%/x%=60/120
(100/x)*x=(60/120)*x - we multiply both sides of the equation by x
100=0.5*x - we divide both sides of the equation by (0.5) to get x
100/0.5=x
200=x
x=200

now we have:
120 is 200% of 60
