he two of them is $75. The waitress gets $45 and the hostess gets $30. If they continue to earn money at this rate, how many dollars will the waitress receive if they earn $350 at the end of the shift?

The waitress gets 45/75   = 3/5  of the tips 

so waitress gets 3/5 * 350 = $210
