Cartilage is one of the types of connective tissue in your body. It consists of cells called chondrocytes mixed with collagen and sometimes elastin fibers meshed into a matrix. It's softer and more flexible than bone. Cartilage gives support and structure to other bodily tissues.

cartilage is important because it severs, several functions, including providing a framework upon which bone deposition can begin and supplying smooth surfaces for the movement of articulating bone. Cartilage is made up of specialized cells called chondrocytes. These chondrocytes produce large amounts of extracellular matrix composed of collagen fibres, proteoglycan, and elastin fibers. There are no blood vessels in cartilage to supply the chondrocytes with nutrients.Cartilage is one of the types of connective tissue in your body. Which of the following types of bandages should NOT be used by the EMT providing wound care?A. Triangular bandageB. TourniquetC.
son4ous [18]

Answer:

The correct answer will be option-B

Explanation:

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is the trained responder to treat the injured persons.

A bandage is a material which is used to keep the dressing in its place to control the bleeding but not to interfere with the blood circulation.

Bandages are of many types like Adhesive tapes, Self-adherent, Triangular bandage and other bandages.

Tourniquets are the device used by the professional which could limit the flow of blood but does not stop the circulation. EMT does not use the Tourniquets to treat the wounds.

Thus, Option-B is the correct answer.

Is the body in homeostasis during the entire time shown in the graph?Explain your answer
Gemiola [76]
You didn't provide a graph? Generally, when we're talking about homeostatis, we're talking about the neutral state of the body during which it can function optimally. If you've provided a graph which involves the human body under an intense workload, then we can be sure that during this period the body isn't under homeostasis.
