Answer:
10,035
Explanation:
Length of the beam is 3.2m
Mass of steel beam is 500kg
Weight of steel =mg
Ws=400×9.8=4900N
Also, man of mass =70kg
Weight of man(Wm)=70×9.8=686N
The weight of the man will act as the middle of the beam
Torque is given as Force ×distance
tnet=Wm×L + Ws×L/w
tnet=686×3.2+4900×1.6
tnet=10,035.2Nm
The net torque about where the beam is bolted is 10,035.2Nm

It's a law of nature, which I don't understand too well, that we can
cool things as close to Absolute Zero as we want to, but we can
never get all the way there.
I think that individual atoms and molecules have been cooled in
the laboratory to within a few thousandths of a Celsius degree
of it ... actually not too shabby an accomplishment !

WOW ! I just went and searched online for more information
on this subject. (You can't imagine what great stuff you can find
by doing that. You ought to try it some time.)
The 1997 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to a team of three
physicists who invented a method of using lasers to slow down the
motion of atoms, and that's the same thing as cooling them. They
were able to cool some atoms to a temperature of 240 millionths
of a degree above Absolute Zero !
Answer:
Average velocity of water flow through the pipe = 3.98 m/s
Explanation:
Diameter of pipe = 20 mm
Discharge = 75 L/min
We know that
Discharge = Area x Velocity

Discharge = 75 L/min

Substituting

Average velocity of water flow through the pipe = 3.98 m/s
As No diagram attached I am taking all are connected in series
We know
