You could solve this problem one of two ways-
1)
100/4 25/2 12.5
100, equals the entire pizza. 4, is the number of people. 25, is the amount they all get. They you divide by 2 since it is only a half pizza.
-or-
2)
100/2 50 50/4 12.5
100, equals the entire pizza. Divide that by 2 since it half a pizza. 100/2 equals 50. Then, since there is 4 friends you divide 50 by 4. Which equals 12.5.
In conclusion, the final answer is 12.5% of the pizza each.
Hope this helps!!

4. MAIL It cost Ramon $3.73 to mail a package to his grandmother. The post
Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

4 pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

First, I subtracted the cost of the first pound from the final product (3.73 - 2.38) and I got 1.35. I then divided the 1.35 by .45 (the 45 cents) to figure out how many more pounds the package was from the initial 1 pounds. 1.35/.45 is 3, plus the 1 pound from the beginning makes 4 pounds in total.

Select the point that is a solution to the system of inequalities
ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer: B. (-1, 0)

This point is below both the red diagonal line and the blue parabola. We know that the set of solution points is below both due to the "less than" parts of each inequality sign.

In contrast, a point like (2,2) is above the parabola which is why it is not a solution. It does not make the inequality y \le x^2-3x true. So this is why we can rule choice A out.

Choice C is not a solution because (4,1) does not make y \le -x+3 true. This point is not below the red diagonal line. We can cross choice C off the list.

Choice D is similar to choice A, which is why we can rule it out as well.

Answer:

Your answer would be B.

Step-by-step explanation:

a^2 + 9^2 = 113^2

Solve exponents.

A^2 + 81 = 113

Subtract 81 from each side.

A^2 = 32.

Square root each side.

A = 32
