The molar mass of the mixture is the summation of the molar mass of a compound in a mixture to its respective molar mass. In this case, 0.10*32 g/mol added to 0.10*28 g/mol and 0.80 *4 g/mol is equal to 9.2 g/mol. The density ratio of the gas to pure oxygen is the ratio of the molar mass between the two, hence 9.2/32 is 0.2875.

Molar mass = 0.1 * MO2 + 0.1 * MN2 + 0.8 * MHe
molar mass = 9.2 g / mo

For the second part, use PV=nRT, arranged for density. The density ratio of the gas to pure oxygen is the ratio of the molar mass between the two

ratio = PM / RT

ratio = 9.2 / 32

ratio = 0.2875

NaCl + H2SO4 ---> Na2SO4 + HCl
Balance the double replacement chemical reaction.
VikaD [51]

Answer:

2NaCl+H2SO4-->Na2SO4+2HCl

Explanation:

There are two Na on the right, so put a 2 in front of NaCl on the left. This makes 3 Cl also, so put a 2 in front of HCl on the right. There are already 2 H on the left, so the equation is balanced.

How does the total volume of gas particles compare to the volume of the space between gas particles?
saw5 [17]
Answer:
             There is more space between gas particles than the size of the particles.

Explanation:
                   This scenario can be understand by taking a very simple example. As we know that 1 mole of any gas at standard temperature and pressure occupy 22.4 liters of volume. Lets take Hydrogen gas and Oxygen gas, 1 mole of each gas will occupy same volume. Why it is so? Why same volume although Oxygen is 16 times more heavier? This is because the space between gas molecules is very large. Approximately the distance between gas molecules is 300 times greater than their own diameter from its neighbor molecules.

1 . a chemical bond formed by the electrostatic attraction between ions covalent bond
liberstina [14]

Explanation:

When there occurs sharing of electrons between two chemically combining atoms then it forms a covalent bond. Generally, a covalent bond is formed between two non-metals.

An ionic bond is defined as the bond formed due to transfer of one or more number of electrons from one atom to another. An ionic bond is always formed between a metal and a non-metal.

Every atom of an element will have orbitals in which electrons are found. These orbitals are known as energy level.

A molecule is defined as the smallest particle present in a substance or atom.

A metallic bond is formed due to mobile valence electrons shared by positive nuclei in a metallic crystal.

Thus, we can conclude that given statements are correctly matched as follows.

1). a chemical bond formed by the electrostatic attraction between ions - ionic bond

2). a chemical bond formed by two electrons that are shared between two atoms - covalent bond

3). the orbitals of an atom where electrons are found - energy level

4). the smallest particle of a covalently bonded substance - molecule

5). a bond characteristic of metals in which mobile valence electrons are shared among positive nuclei in the metallic crystal - metallic bond
