Color depends on the wave length produced, for example if the wave length is shorter then it would produce violet and when it continues to get higher it produces other colors. from low to high it goes, violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red. those are also only in the visible light spectrum whereas there are plenty of other wave we cannot see with the human eye.

What is true about the inertia of two cars, Car A of mass 1,500 kilograms and Car B of mass 2,000 kilograms?
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

Car B has more inertia than Car A

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of car A = 1500 kg

Mass of car B = 2000 kg

Inertia is directly proportional to the mass of an object. Inertia is the measure of the mass of an object.

In this case, the mass of car B is more than that of car A, it means the inertia of car B is more than that of car A.

Hence, the correct option is (c) "Car B has more inertia than Car A".

Most minerals on Earth's surface contain which of the following
Hitman42 [59]

B:Oxygen and silicon

Explanation:

Most minerals on the earth's surface contains oxygen and silicon. Silicon and oxygen are the most abundant elements we find in the rock minerals on the earth surface.

  • Silicon and oxygen forms the SiO₄⁻ tetrahedron through which several minerals are formed.
  • These minerals built on the network of the tetrahedron are referred to as silicates.
  • Several silicate minerals are known:
  1. Quartz
  2. Feldspars
  3. Olivine
  4. Biotite
  5. Pyroxene

The ksp of manganese(ii) carbonate, mnco3, is 2.42 × 10-11. calculate the solubility of this compound in g/l.
Vikki [24]

Answer :  The solubility of this compound in g/L is 565.414\times 10^{-6}g/L.

Solution : Given,

K_{sp}=2.42\times 10^{-11}

Molar mass of MnCO_3 = 114.945g/mole

The balanced equilibrium reaction is,

                      MnCO_3\rightleftharpoons Mn^{2+}+CO^{2-}_3

At equilibrium                         s       s

The expression for solubility constant is,

K_{sp}=[Mn^{2+}][CO^{2-}_3]

Now put the given values in this expression, we get

2.42\times 10^{-11}=(s)(s)\\2.42\times 10^{-11}=s^2\\s=0.4919\times 10^{-5}=4.919\times 10^{-6}moles/L

The value of 's' is the molar concentration of manganese ion and carbonate ion.

Now we have to calculate the solubility in terms of g/L multiplying by the Molar mass of the given compound.

s=4.919\times 10^{-6}moles/L\times 114.945g/mole=565.414\times 10^{-6}g/L

Therefore, the solubility of this compound in g/L is 565.414\times 10^{-6}g/L.

In the reaction mg(s)+2hcl(aq) h2(g)+mgcl2(aq), how many grams of hydrogen gas will be produced from 125.0 ml of a 6.0m hcl in a
Kruka [31]
6.0m(mol/kg) of HCl
125mL H2O = 0.125kg
6mol/kg = n mol/0.125kg, n = 0.75mol
When 0.75mol of HCl reacts, 0.75/2=0.375mol of H2 is produced. H2 = 2g/mol
So, 0.375mol H2 = 0.75g

The radius of an atom of gold (Au) is about 1.35 Å.
Eduardwww [97]
Two radius of an atom is equal to the diameter. Adding up all the diameter of  the atoms, it should be equal to 9.5 mm. Therefore, we simply convert the units to the same units then divide 1.35 A to 9.5 mm. We calculate as follows:

no. of atoms = 0.0095 m / 1.35x10^-9 m = 7037037 atoms

Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.
