For AD:
AD=root((c-0)^2 + (d-0)^2)=root((c)^2 + (d)^2)
For BC:

BC=root(((b+c) - b)^2+(d-0)^2)=root((c)^2+(d)^2)
For AB:

AB=root((b-0)^2 + (0-0)^2)=root((b)^2 + (0)^2)=root((b)^2)
For CD:

CD=root((c-(b+c))^2 + (d-d)^2)
CD=root((b)^2 + (0)^2)
CD=root((b)^2)

If a and b are odd integers, then a – b is an even integer.
Readme [11.4K]
So the answer choices are
1. a-b=even
2. a and b are not odd
3. a and b are odd
4. a-b=even
5. a-b=not even

even=not odd
not even=odd so choice 5 is really a-b=odd
basically choice 4 and 1 are the same so we cross one out
so
the problem said that a and b are odd so therefor choice2 is wrong and choice 3 is correct

then both are odd
odd-odd=even because
an even number is represented as 2n where n is an integer
an odd number can be represented as 2n+1 so assume you have 2 odd numbers 2 away from each other so odd and (odd+2)
odd+2-odd=2n+1+2-(2n+1)=2n+1+2-2n-1=2n-2n+1-1+2=2
you are left with odd
using integers
7 and 11
11-7=4
even

so odd-odd=even, it depends on weather you consider 0 odd or even

so the asnwers are:
a and b are odd
a-b is not an even integer

Your neighbor had to drop the selling price of her home from $180,000 to $165,000. What percent did the price get lowered? Round
Vikki [24]
You could do 165,000 divided by 180,000. This is 165000/180000, and that will give you the percentage that 165000 is of 180000 in decimal form, which is 0.9167.
Then we round to the nearest tenth, which is 0.92
0.92 as a percentage is 92%.
100% - 92% = 8%
The price of the home dropped by 8%.

What is a possible value of sin(theta) when cos2(theta)=0.73?
Sindrei [870]
We use the following trigonometric identity to answer the question:
sin^ 2 (theta) + cos^ 2 (theta) = 1
We substitute the values:
sin ^ 2 (theta) + 0.73 = 1
We cleared:
sin ^ 2 (theta) = 1-0.73
sin ^ 2 (theta) = 0.27
Answer:
a possible value of sin ^ 2 (theta) is:

c.0.26 (nearest option)

If anybody now this pls help my homework due TOMORROW
Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

Part A: D. y = (x + 1)(x+3)\\

Part B: C. 3x(x-3) = 0\\

Step-by-step explanation:

For part A) we just have to plug in 0 for x and solve for y until we find the equation that says 3 is the value for y when x is 0. For purposes of speeding up the process the correct answer is D. I will show how to check for it now.

The equation: y = (x + 1)(x+3)

Now plug in 0 for x.

y = (0 + 1)(0+3)\\

Now solve.

y = (1)(3)

y = 3

This proves that this is the correct answer.

For part B) we just have to plug in the give values for x separately and check for each value of x that it equals 0. For the purpose of speeding up the process the correct answer is C. I will show how to check for it now.

The equation: 3x(x-3) = 0

Now plug in x for 0 and solve:

3* 0 (0-3) = 0\\

0(-3) = 0\\

0 =0\\

This equation is true, now we check for the other value of x, 3.

3*3(3-3) = 0\\

9(0) = 0\\

0 =0\\

This is also true so that means this is the correct answer.

F. A bag contains 3 red, 4 blue, 3 green, and 5 yellow marbles. What is the probability of
umka21 [38]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

you first add up the marbles together. 3 + 4 + 3 +.5 = 15. Then you take the amount of green marbles their are, and make a fraction: 3/15. Then you remove one without putting it back, which is green, so you have 1 less total and one less green marbles, and you turn that into a fraction: 2/14.

First Pick: 3/15 chance of getting green

Second Pick: 2/14 chance of getting green

Then. You divide the first number by the second one.

3 / 15 = 0.2

2 / 14 = 0.142

Then to turn into percentage you move the decimal over two spots and drop the 0 and add a percentage sign:

20%

14.2% (Round Up Percentage) 15%

Which means that:

20% Probabiltiy for first pick

15% Probability for second pick
