I believe the answer is: A.) It increases your level of physical activity.

Using basic hand tools would create additional burn of calories due to the movements required to operate the tools (such as hammering, twisting, lifting , etc) even though the amount of calories burned would not be as much as cardio or resistance exercises.

Therefore in absence of water, absorption   by the xylem due to inhibition by toxin, Photosynthesis is INHIBITED.Since no H+ is produced.
